Allan Struthers
Center for Applied Mathematics
The research interests of Allan Struthers include solutions in optical frequency converion
processes, mathematical modeling, and laser-guided direct writing.
He is interested in incorporating real applications of
mathematics into the undergraduate curriculum.
Struthers is involved in an ongoing program to develop applications of
three-wave-interaction solutions in practical optical frequency conversion
processes with a recent focus on ultrashort pulse generation.
